Young dudes

Nice to be out for my second morning walk this week. Less murky and muddy than yesterday and almost light when we reached Coppice Pond to feed the ducks.

The swans were at the other end and seems to be ignoring us but then suddenly flew the length of the pond. It was interesting to watch the body language. Pop was definitely making up to momma, the start of this year's courtship perhaps and he was also pushing the youngsters away during the feeding.

Not a brilliant shot but I liked the 'abstract' feel of the water created by the early light.
