Travelling in hope!

This is Bingley station at just before four O'clock. There is no one on either platform probably because there has been a rail strike today on Norhtern Rail. But we were going to Leeds regardless as we had tickets for the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

The train scheduled for 4.07 came on time with hardly anyone on it and we got into Leeds with plenty of time to eat and have a drink before watching a brilliant production of 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe'. It was excellently done with a very talented and energetic young cast and some marvellous technical wizardry. (Liked that they had Yorkshire accents too)
It was done in the round too with extra seating put in where it would ordinarily have been back stage. The main auditorium is semi circular but it's the first time I've seen this. (Extra)

There was only one train back at 10.26 and we got there with over 20 minutes to spare. Again it wasn't busy so all in all a brilliant evening out.
