Deep peace

I said farewell to my dear aunt and godmother today at the wee church in Auchterarder where she and my uncle Jim were parish stalwarts for years. It was obvious from the old priest who took the service that he was very fond of them. Her daughter Anne read these beautiful words:

Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you.
