A sad day

We walked slowly into Funchal this morning and stopped in St Catherine's Park to enjoy the sunshine and watch the antics of the swans and ducks.  We wandered to the big shopping centre and refreshed on cokes and beers and chips.  Wandered around and was sad to see the decorations coming down.  These hearts looked very sad and my 1st extra is how they were a week ago.  My that week has gone quickly.  My second extra is of the king who would have been 83 today.  The hearts also tie in with his song wooden heart although they are not wooden.
