Rosie, Toto and knitting
Such a rare sight - my two cats on the same sofa without fighting!
Actually, the same room without hissing at each other is rare these days.
Home again after a lovely weekend away with Alex and her family. Next time I hope that we will not be ill and tired....
My journey home was so much better than the trip there: what should have been a 2 hour straight through train trip turned into over 3 hours, a cancelled train, and a change to another train that didn't actually to to where I was heading for.
Today's train was cancelled according to the train website, and a handwritten addition to a notice on the station stated that there were no trains stopping at the station today.
Fortunately we chose to ignore these, and rely on the automated information system at the station that insisted that the train was actually running.
It was running - although very crowded, as several other trains had apparently been cancelled, but I did get a seat, and didn't have to change.
And I got to share the carriage space next to the door with some beautifully behaved young children, a rather overweight Labrador, and a bunch of students from Hong Kong who were rather surprised (but delighted) to be able to converse in Cantonese with the Labrador s owner..
