Little Narrows Ferry.

After 3 and a half days indoors, Terry and i decided to go out for lunch and then have a bit of drive about.   The weather wasn't very nice, heavy mist, slight snow and -16C degrees!   but we wanted to go to the Auld Brass Door - it's owned and run by a Scotsman....can't remember his name, but he always has stories to tell.  It's a basic restaurant with good down to earth food....i was craving hamburger and fries!   So we stayed there for a good while, eating and chatting with the owner...we were the only customers, which is actually often the case!   I don't think it's because it's not a good place to eat, it's just in a kind of out of the way place....anyway, it was just great to get out!

Then we drove the long way home, the scenic route instead of the highway.  it was lovely and quiet, and brought us to this lovely little ferry.

I couldn't resist the extra:  classic tea towel on the wall!  I know all you Scottish blippers will appreciate this!
