Thirsty Blippy!

Well look who visited us at Wombat Hollow today. I nearly fell over because it was late morning when I looked out and saw Blippy down at the water bowl saying hello to the Buddha. We have had an army of wild life visiting throughout the day and they’ve all been after the water. It’s been a scorcher in Sydney today and even though it was extremely hot in Blackheath please spare a thought for our friends in Richmond and Penrith. The temperature reached 47.3 degrees in Penrith and apparently it was the hottest place on the planet today. Pleased to report that our good mates Mr and Mrs Beckett who live close by to Penrith were all safe and sound with the air conditioner working overtime.

We are going to be on water bowl vigil for the next few days until this heat wave passes. I would be so distressed if I thought those bowls were empty when our little friends called by. They rely on us now and we’re very happy to oblige.
