Cricket pavilion

Wracked with indecision on todays blip. I uploaded a macro shot of the same leaf as yesterday but removed it when, on reflection, I didn't think it was worth the space. Later I prepared an image from late evening when I walked the dog but that was too similar to some I did a few weeks ago. Instead, this is the pavilion at Paul's Land in Nuneaton taken when Jonathan's home football match was this afternoon.

Paul's Land was donated to the people of Nuneaton for use recreation only. It cannot be sold or used for any other purpose. There are six football pitches and the cricket pitch as seen here.

Football went better than expected - the boys lost quite heavily but as they were playing the league leaders it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Jonathan was struggling with his back injury that left hi sidelined for half of last weeks match. I was ready for a rest after two of us put up the nets and took them down. After 5 minutes play I realised we hadn't put out the corner flags! Another hike back to the car-park and back then all round the pitch. Phew...

Got back home and remember seeing the end of the re-run of the Grand-Prix but the next how is devoid of any memory. I might just have fallen asleep! Well, that's what Sunday's are for surely!
