Memories
Walking along this street reminded me of this time & photo...feels an age ago...
I'm backblipping as I didn't manage to creep away from Nate until coming up to midnight.
Early afternoon I saw a woman who lives on the island and is setting up a business pulling together all the environmental NGOs, she wants to use my pics! Feels like a huge honour that an Ibicenco likes how I see their island...
In the evening Claire & Jud came over & we all headed to the Port to watch the Kings arrive on the boat, then parade through town throwing sweets to the kids. Asha wasn't too bothered about the sweets, but she loved the dancing.
Drama of the day;
Feeling a touch overwhelmed by solo parenting!
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Memories of how much the Claytons helped us out when we first moved to the island. They were SO kind to us. Abby walked so many streets with us, looking for a home for us.
2) Sofie asking to use my photos...I feel hugely honoured that 1) she likes them & 2) they'll be useful!
3) The King's Parade! How wonderful to live somewhere so colourful and vibrant.
4 days down, 3 to go!
