Llanrwst Bridge over the River Conwy

We decided to come back from my Mum's the pretty way, taking the A470 and on down through Snowdonia and the rolling mountains of middle Wales. It was a much longer journey but far gentler on the eye than taking the motorways.

I shot this into the Sun as he burst unexpectedly through the clouds; three bracketed shots put together in Aurora HDR 2018. The swan in the foreground would have looked less like a floating corpse had he not decided to go fishing at the inappropriate moment...

The bridge itself looks fragile and is very narrow, which caused Janet much amusement as I waited for a shot that didn't have two or more four by fours fighting for supremacy at the top!
