Hellebore
A quick blip from the garden. This hellebore is a reliable favourite, although it only has one flower stem this year, I think because we messed up the cutting back last year. Usually it needs a bit of staking as the flower heads can get too heavy for the stems to support. It's good to see though that there are lots of buds yet to open. What we really need to do is give it a couple of companions so that it doesn't look quite so solitary in the border. Once the spring arrives we'll get on to that.
