Crisis? What crisis?
I was walking along George Street today when I spotted this fine example of conspicuous consumption parked outside one of the many converted bank buildings.
At one time the street was the financial epicentre of the British Empire, lined with neo-classical buildings subtly sending out their messages of solidity, dependability and discretion.
Now they've been converted into pubs, restaurants and clubs all sending out the opposite messages.
