Back to the routine!

Thursday
A fairly early start this morning to take Laura down to the airport for her return to Kuwait. When she came, she flew through Philadelphia, but she is returning via Chicago - just as well with the huge snow storm hitting the east coast today! She has a really long layover in Chicago - about 7 hours - but she had arranged to meet up with one of her Peace Corps friends who is now living in Chicago, so he picked her up and they went out to eat and do some catching up. Then it was her long flight (about 12 or 13 hours) to Dohar, then finally a short hop to Kuwait - she won’t arrive until about noon tomorrow (Friday)! Once we got home, we had a coffee then Roger went into work, while I got on with routine chores around the house, though I did take a break in the afternoon and did some knitting. Another bitterly cold, but sunny day. In the evening it was back to choir practice, though handbells did get cancelled. I didn’t get an outdoor Blip today, so resorted to a photo of our choir music - we got several new pieces today, including the cantata we will be doing in April.
