Sunlit leaf on snow
Friday
The extreme cold continues, though thankfully not as bad as they have it on the east coast. Our high was once again in the mid teens F (about -10 C), but at least under sunshine and clear blue skies. However, the end is finally in sight - tomorrow we have similar temperatures, but on Sunday the temperature is supposed to double, and we will get above freezing for the first time in around two weeks! After lunch, I bundled up in layers and went walking at Sharon Woods. I wasn’t alone on the trail, but there weren’t many of us! I took several photographs, but finally chose this lone autumn leaf lying on the snow in the gorge.
One year ago: Ice-breaking swan!
