Half way there!

This amaryllis is a really strong, healthy specimen. Two buds open, two more buds just biding their time!  I was given it for looking after Dylan, a neighbour's dog, when his owners were away for a weekend in December, and it's a real stunner.  

Went riding with H this afternoon.  Chilly, but dry, so we managed an outside ride.  Too muddy under hoof for much cantering, just a bracing and invigorating steady trek and chat.  Nimbus is in good form.  She's 22 years old, but still keen to go!
