Almost flooded
I've joined a Facebook photography group that will have a monthly project. It starts this month with an in-depth look at a photographer of our choice who is known for black and white photography.
I'm looking forward to this as I don't really know any black and white photographers that well, with one exception: a few years ago, Matilda Temperley documented the Somerset Levels when they were flooded for several months. She successfully raised enough money through crowdfunding to publish a book, Under the Surface, which won a Royal Photographic Society award. You can see some of her work by searching for “Matilda Temperley Somerset floods” on Google images.
This is my feeble 'nod' to Matilda's excellent images - thankfully, the flooding is far less severe so far this winter.
