Let there be fire!

Finally got the fire going today so our house is nice and toasty again :) I cooked my first ever Sunday lunch today for dad and Carl...there were lots of appreciative noises so I all went well. The Yorkshire puddings were so big we could fit our dinner in them!

We had a visitor in the garden today. I lovely fluffy black cat. I went outside to see it and sat on the step and it just jumped onto my lap and laid down and started to purr! What a super friendly cat, it was nice and relaxing just sitting outside with it.

I've just shown Carl how to make bread do hopefully it comes out well....maybe I'll get fresh bread everyday...yummy!
