A country scene

Took this on my way home from my dads, it was a lovely cold clear day. Our boiler is broken today so no heating or hot water. Went to dads for a hot shower whilst Carl stayed at home for the plumber! Plumber came but the heating can't be fixed until Wednesday...aaggghhh! Oh well, we'll have to try the fire again (still haven't managed to light it yet).

Made some yummy brownies this afternoon in preparation of dad coming over for Sunday lunch tomorrow. Went to uncle rako's surprise 60th birthday party this evening, which was nice. Strange being at a family event without mum, I miss her a lot today.

Came home and it was already dark and it was a canopy of stars tonight, beautiful! I hope one of them is mum twinkling away.
