COLD!!!

Very cold here - it hasn't gotten above freezing for several days and it isn't expected to until later in the week - quite unusual for Virginia.

Last day of the holiday - school and work tomorrow - so I encouraged the boy to get out a little - he was resistant but then LOVED the way the ice had formed on the creek.  I had originally thought we would go see icicles in the tunnel - but the old mill dam was quite impressive.  The extras are some of the things that excited the boy - they excited me too.  (Didn't use all my extras last year so I'm not going to hold back - I'm posting anything I want to preserve - I love looking thru my journal.)
