A new year, and another birthday...

A lie in and a leisurely breakfast were in order after a last night's festivities. Then, while MrM took Louie for his walk on the Common, it was just about warm enough for me to spend an enjoyable hour pottering in the courtyard. 

After a late lunch we had a short walk up to Duddo Stone Circle - a magical place - as the sun was going down. It always seems incredibly peaceful there.

MrM cooked me a delicious birthday meal of paella, and after we had eaten it was an evening of relaxing in front of the TV with MrM and a wee dram.
