New Year celebrations

A day of tidying, and MrM decided, unilaterally, to start stripping wallpaper in the 'music' room... 

We spent the evening in Belford, at our friend Andrea's, and an excellent evening it was! Good company, good food - a veritable feast, no less - and good wine...

Just before midnight we all went outside and joined the throng for the New Year celebrations - a torchlight procession headed by a pipe band then, at midnight, a fabulous firework display. A hazy and out-of-focus Blip (a glass or two of red may have had something to do with that), but it gives you a 'flavour' of the event...
