One less job
We journeyed back over from the other side this morning with the car packed and us on the road just before ten. It was definitely my quickest version of that route with very little on the roads. We were home by lunchtime and unpacked fairly efficiently.
I resisted the temptation to do very little for what was left of the last day of the holidays and unpacked and put away properly, did a load of washing and walked Bailey. We also headed to see the favourite people before the general madness resumes. And then home to take the Christmas decorations down so that there will be one less job to do in the week. Bailey acted in his usual supervisory role. Other than that, he has reacquainted himself with the spare bed and I have attempted to put off the inevitable of getting ready to be back in work tomorrow.
