All things European are popular here. Whether its French Bakeries, Italian pizzerias or German beer! This building is part of the Mediterranean district! I'm guessing the recent Olympic games has also made the Union Jack a popular accessory here- mobile phone covers, t-shirts, bags designs & mini coopers with Union Jack roof are all common!
