Christmas Books
I love reading and was lucky enough to receive these books as Christmas gifts:
1) The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down by Haemin Sunim - a book about mindfulness by a Buddhist monk
2) When We Danced At The End Of The Pier by Sandy Taylor - third and final part of the Brighton Girls Trilogy - the first two were about two young girls growing up in Brighton in the 1960's
3) The Apprentice of Split Crow Lane by Jane Housham - the true story of the murder of a young girl in Gateshead in 1866
4) This Is Going To Hurt by Adam Kay - true story of the life of an NHS junior doctor
5) Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman - I kept reading about this book and it gets really good reviews so I asked for it for Christmas.
Did you get any books for Christmas?
