Trudging up the worn snow slope

The melting snow has not deterred these young sledgers on this much used patch of snow. This’ll be the last day for a while as heavy rain and strong winds are expected tomorrow.

We only had time for a brisk, short walk around the Balerno loop this morning before setting off to Glasgow to visit Susan’s nephew, wife and family. What a joy they all were. Ella and Finlay are delightful, energetic and entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. Like many children they have an amazing number of toys. Finlay likes Thomas the Tank so I was able to show him photos of Thomas and other engines on the KESR.
