Northern light.

The days are lengthening, minutely but perceptibly.  And when the winter sun does shine in this far north place, it often shines through this kind of clear sky, foretelling brighter days to come.  We finally, finally, finally, got our fireplace completed.  After so many, so called, tradesmen tramping so much muck through the place and doing less than perfect jobs, I finished it off myself with some carefully cut and ever so delicately placed tiling.  It now looks fairly perfect to me. With that job done, with the long report completed and only some shorter ones still to do, our minds are turning towards our next trip to France, roll on 27 January!
