Rainy Rio

Just taken this photo a few moments ago. It's been another day of travelling as we left John of God in Brasilia this morning. Our destination was Rio once again however the weather gods dealt us a harsher hand than the first time around.

We flew in through the clouds and the rain soon followed. Our travelling theme has seemed to be bad accommodation. The theme continued! We arrived in what we believed to be a full apartment, but we were soon to be enlightened to the fact that we had 1 room, a tiny room, which brought the quote "Not big enough to swing a cat around"! (No cats have ever been harmed during our travels) Between the 3 of us I may add. The joyous news continued, we didn't even have a private bathroom, we would be sharing it with 4 other people. I was thinking 'Christ on a bike we payed a lot for what we've got', which as you can tell isn't a lot.

Luckily the stay here is only for 3 days before we depart to Iguazu falls. At least we do cosy well, by the end of this we'll do it really well. Off out for dinner now at our favourite restaurant in the area, unfortunately we'll be dining in waterproofs :(
