Just Before the Heavy Showers
7.4C with bright spells then heavy squally showers. Wind (forecast as a moderate breeze) to 32 mph with gusts to 51 mph at 3pm. We are now in an Amber warning area for the Irish Met. Service named storm Dylan tomorrow morning, oh joy.
Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. A heavy shower came on just as we were about to head along the shore path in the park. I decided to cut it short and come home so Fergus wouldn't get soaked again.
When we were out on our last walk yesterday we noticed MV Isle of Arran was at the new quay by the linkspan. She was still there today, and I expect she won't move until the wind abates.
