Summer Golds.....

Our Marlborough landscape is at its summer best at the moment. A lot of folk look at the distant hills with their dry grass cover and say “they are brown.” I always think and say they are golden. I love their colours in the early morning light as they were very early today. The temperature today got to 26C here.... a nice comfortable heat for gardening and getting the washing dry .... or trips to the seaside for families with young children.
