But now you’re leaving....
All good things must come to an end and this one has too.
I write this and the temperature has dropped 20 degrees from when this photo was taken at 1030 this morning.
We’re sitting at home. Stunned and shocked that we are back after such a restful week. we Will do that again for sure.
This was my example of my skills at panoramas. I tried last night on the volcano and that resulted in a photo of a wall and a woman’s back. This was our lovely balcony where we spent some lovely hooman studies time... lol
The extra is an example of one of the paw prints found in the tiles dotted around the room and in the corridor. I have no idea of their significance - they weren’t the same. All different. And all on occasional tiles.
We had another example of why I hate hoooomans today and the only reason I need not to go on a cruise.
In the 30 minutes wait for checkin. Betty and Wullie, gave the couple behind them the experience of their 12 years of cruising - they tried it on us but I shuffled forward and paid a lot of interest on my feet (which are now horrifically swollen).
Betty and Wullie wouldn’t not believe the hardship that befell folk that were placed on their dinner tables - one at a time the couples fell ill, or decided that the food was too rich, but none of them returned to the table - I mean, as Betty says, there’s only so much lobster you can eat eh?
Despite Glasgow airport closing today for ‘only thirty minutes’ as the sky news lady said very sarcastically our flight was delayed an hour; and then an extra 10 minutes while we waited on the runway; and then we got asked to slow down while they de-iced the runway... which resulted in a landing time of 10pm rather than the 850 we had been hoping for!
Ah well at least we got a flight and it landed safely!
