Enjoying the snow
The kind dis messed around so much in the morning we were late getting away to meet #2 daughter and the boys at Whitley Bay swimming pool. We set off but the snow was so heavy we turned back. We saw cars ahead not making it up the hill. Ella was so disappointed. We had to abondon our car in the village and walk home through the field.
Pelting Grandad with snowballs and making a snowman definitely made up for the lack of swimming. They have never in their lifetime had enough snow to make a snowman.
By late afternoon the gritters had been around so we took them home to their temporary house which is lovely, opposite the Town Moor and a minute from West Jesmond metro and Arlo’s cafe. Talk about location! They won’t want to move into their own new house in the spring. Daughter is still poorly, but improving.
It looks like we won’t be going to S and M’s for New Year as they are ill.
It’s my turn to chose a Christmas movie and I can’t find it - When Harry Met Sally. Mr C wants to watch MASH.
