Springtime in December

Hazel catkins and camellias! Harbingers of spring! On 28th December! I keep expecting to see birds with bits of straw and moss in their beaks. Madness - though the pond did have a thin layer of ice this morning!

Following some reflexology from our daughter, Mr PP tried taking his deteriorating hip for a short walk today. It was a narrow walk, too, at times. See Extra!

Well, the last of the family left earlier and may be heading towards snow, poor things! Makes us appreciate our slightly more temperate climate. The sea was deep blue to match the sky, even though it was a bit nippy!
