Five trees in the morning

A beautifully frosty start to the day encouraged me out of the house for a walk round Thorpe Hall grounds. I really left it a little bit late, but the cats were demanding their breakfast and I felt the need of a hot drink before I dashed out of the door, so I didn't arrive until well after sunrise. 

The rest of the day's been spent at the computer, plodding on with a big report. But I'm making steady progress, and am beginning to feel more confident that it will be completed by the 2nd January deadline!
