Snow! Unexpected, and only a smattering. It was starting to thaw slightly, during the day, but has frozen solid in the Baltic-like breeze we have this evening. Loads of traffic about. Don't know if it's folk heading home after work, or others that were sampling the sales in Inverness. Likely both.

Cold inside too. So much so, that the fire's been lit.
