Grantchester Meadows

This is a shot of the River Cam running along the bottom of Grantchester Meadows near Cambridge. I begged Fe to take me there again as I seem to have fallen in love with it's quintessential old English charms. The poet Rupert Brooke whom I have reference on my blip before frequented here before his premature death at the age of 27. I find the orchard, tea rooms and gorgeous walks so relaxing and enriching, and with this shot I've hoped to add some vivid B&W to a place steeped in such beautiful colours.

In other news City were beating Wrexham 4-2. At Wrexham. They're 2nd (Wrexham) and we were 22nd.

How the hell has that happened?
