Winter draws on

Winter came to our village today, starting at 7am and finishing at 2pm. It is now officially Spring.

We woke up as the snow started and, having missed all the snow before Christmas when we were in Norfolk, were quite looking forward to it. It settled for a while but by 2pm it had turned to rain and was starting to go slushy. However, it's now below freezing so if that continues overnight the roads will be fun in the morning.

I have to confess that I only went as far as our gate to get this shot. Apart from a trip out later in the day for petrol the rest of the day has been spent cosy and warm at home.
