Annual day of consumerism

Boxing day: where Robert comes to Shrewsbury and we buy a year's supply of toiletries for half price at Boots. I realise that this is mostly mindless consumerism but it does mean a fun day with Rob and so it's always one of the most fun days of the festive period.

I ran 6.5km and had walked into town by 9.30am and so by about lunchtime I was flagging. Coffee with the rents perked us up for a dash around TK MAXX. And because cheese and biscuits should make up at least 50% of meals over Christmas, we came back to No.19 for cheese and biscuits. And Gin. Because apparently I'm an alcoholic judging by the amount I received as gifts.
