Wintersweet

The recent mild spell has brought the Wintersweet, Chimonanthus praecox, into full flower.  On a short stroll in the garden today the scent was unmissable.  A large shrub or small tree, they really need a warm and sheltered spot to bring out the best in them.

Another gentle family day.  After a light lunch we all watched animated film, Arthur Christmas.  We all stayed awake too .... and laughed a lot.
