Birds of a Feather -

- flocking together !

This morning we had a lovely Boxing Day walk in the sunshine into Stratford and while Mrs AMK visited the shops I wandered along the river.

This lady appeared with food for the birds and within a minute she was surrounded by geese, swans, pigeons and gulls.

There was plenty activity on the river with rowers training and racing but the many swans appealed to me most of all.

The family returned for another meal in the afternoon and little C brought his dinosaurs this time. We have had a lovely Christmas break in the apartment we rented able to spend time by ourselves but lots of time spent with our middle son, his wife and their 2 little children.

Tomorrow morning we will be packing up for our 7 hour drive North again,
