Softly, softly

......fell the rain on my roof.

I woke to the strange sound of rain.......not a lot, but enough for me to register that it was actually raining.  Yay!  It's rained again this evening, more than overnight's offering, but not enough to make a significant impact on the water table.  Still, the flowers and lawns will have enjoyed the moisture and the coolness.  In fact, I think the animals both 4-legged and 2-legged will have enjoyed the moisture and the coolness today.  

I'm beginning to formulate a plan for a trip.......no rush, but it would be nice to get away for a while.
