Baubles

This is the type of Christmas decoration I can appreciate!  Such a pity that they only last a few minutes before Mother Nature evaporates them away.

I ventured to town today for a few chores.  Managed to get most things done and was pleasantly surprised to be able to uphold my long-time goal of parking outside the shop you want to go to (as you do in Nelson!).  It wasn't perfect but thankfully it was chaotic either - a very pleasant surprise.  

A little more rain overnight and even a few more drops this evening - still, 9mm yesterday and today's tiny fall is not enough to solve the water supply problem we're experiencing just now so will continue to conserve where we can.
