A Christingle Service on Christmas Eve
Today seemed to be flurry of activity as we shopped for the last bits and pieces, wrapped the last gifts and prepared our 'extra' turkey to take tomorrow when Mr MC's brother and his family will host the Christmas Day this year.
By late afternoon we had everything as sorted as it was going to be and set out to our local church for their family service at 5pm. This service is always lovely and aimed at all the generations. I was especially pleased that we sang a selection of my favourite traditional carols, all slightly up tempo accompanied by the excellent church band and Violet loved it all! Mince pies and mulled wine or hot chocolate rounded off the evening.
Backblipped on Boxing Day, trying to catch up, back with Christmas Day later!
