Balrossie Gates

Balrossie was a home for the orphans of sailors set up on the outskirts of Kilmacolm in 1899. It now lies empty and has been getting ever more dilapidated. Plans to develop new houses and restore the existing buildings have never come to fruition. The gates bear the logo of the Sailors' Orphans' Homes.
