Cleaning up

Fab Christmas Day. The Australian branch of the family landed at Heathrow at 5.20am and did well to last into the evening, even helping with the washing up. There was much laughter and catching up and an appropriate amount of alcoholic consumption. Our one Christmas project management fail was forgetting to buy Christmas crackers but remarkably we had exactly the right number - seven - left over from last year so even that worked out.

For the record, this year’s roast potatoes were of a very high standard.TSM made an excellent seitan and mushroom wellington. The Dizzle cooked beef and turkey and did a fine job. We managed a quick FaceTime with The Girl Racer, who was working on the ski slopes out in Canada.
