Christmas Day

A lovely, family Christmas Day. We opened presents this morning, with special mention to Jo for the coffee logs (see extra), they were too big for the cafetiere but burnt well when we put it on the fire.  Emma and Andy prepared most of the (veggie) lunch to be served with the butternut squash roast I made yesterday, we were all fairly stuffed after.

Later, as I was dozing off during Harry Potter, we decided to play a game.  Here we are playing Rummikub, a game we haven't played since last Christmas, something to get the little grey cells moving without being too taxing.

Now settling down to Dr Who, Upstart Crow and a glass of rum.
