Christmas Eve!
We've had a full day, celebrating in Sa Penya with Roma Gypsy friends...and later celebrating with some Caña Club friends...
It was SUCH an honour to be invited into Sa Penya today...such an important family day! Each household had food outside and their own LOUD soundsystem, and the community kind of just worked their way around each party! We ate the most delicious spicy tomato mussels... We went laden with chocolates, candy canes and glowsticks. As expected, the kids LOVED the glowsticks, and it was so wonderful to watch Asha rushing round with them. A real treat...the hours passed by quickly. It's amazing how we're only 5 minutes from our house, but it's like a completely different world.
Then later we popped for a drink with James & Rich & some of their friends.
A great Nochebuena!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Watching Asha & the Roma kids play together.
2) The honour of spending time in Sa Penya, especially on such a signicicant day.
3) Getting to know Soli better.
