Snowdrops

Another slow day and you almost got these Siamese mushrooms that I discovered this morning whilst making breakfast..but you were saved by these beautiful early snowdrops that I spotted out on my walk this afternoon..taken with the popup flash on the LX5, with a white handkerchief over the flash to tone it down a bit.

I made some soup for our Boxing Day lunch - which will be a second Christmas dinner at our daughter’s house on Tuesday - she is working on Christmas Day so their celebrations are delayed for a day so that our granddaughter can have a big family around!

On a side note - Nature’s confusion was further evident today, the rhubarb in our garden is sprouting and the forsythia bush has already got some yellow flowers growing! About three months early!
