The Drop

Good debate with Scottish Government officials today over the options now facing us as we head into the next financial year. Some challenging decisions - but also opportunities if we can start some projects.

Then lots of emails flying round ahead of an event tomorrow. They continued well into our office Christmas lunch but progress was good.

Our venue was very close to the tower drop installation on George Street. One of our younger members decided to go up it. It rotates, tilts, gives you a magnificent view over Edinburgh, then drops you suddenly 3/4 of the way to the ground. I did not go up myself, though slightly tempted after Hayley - see extra - reported how much she enjoyed it.

I refrained but may consider it before it finishes on Christmas Eve.

Then off to another venue where we were joined by Tony and Lindsay who left us earlier in the year.

A very busy but good day.
