Wonderful light on the shortest day

Mr C set off on a mission of mercy - #3 daughter moves out of her house next week and the new owners move in, she has flu and was sent home from work yesterday - and Nathaniel, playing Tarzan, ran along the sofa, leapt for the long curtain, pulling it and the fittings from the wall. So Mr C went to fill the hole and repaint.

So Chris and I had an away day - no Xmas chores were done. We drove to Bamburgh and walked towards Seahouses. The light was just lovely and the sea so calm. The Blip is Inner Farne where I took Ella and Thomas in the spring to see the puffins.
