Japanese Gardens Cowra

We are having three shorter days of driving this time round as we head to Victoria Christmas with CCN's son and daughter-in-law and granddaughters. We decided to call into the magnificent Japanese Gardens for lunch. It was 33 degrees when we arrived in Cowra so walking around the gardens was out of the question. I took this image with my iPhone from the great little cafe. As you can see from the blue sky, no rain in this neck of the woods!

We're staying in Young tonight and we were delighted to see the Lavender Hill Cherry stall was open when we arrived. We purchased some of their magnificent cherries. We bought some two years ago on our way to Melbourne for Christmas and honestly they were AMAZING. They'll make a nice present for the family and make no mistake we'll be having our fair share as well :)
